We’re into the second minute of three added on at the Red Bull Arena. Leipzig have just got through once more, but Augustin had strayed offside in the build up.
89'
G. Carrillo enters the game and replaces R. Falcao.
Monaco’s third change sees Falcao make way for Guido Carrillo, as we approach the final few minutes.
87'
Jemerson gets yellow.
A yellow card is shown to Monaco's Jemerson.
84'
R. Ghezzal enters the game and replaces D. Sidibé.
Monaco’s second change sees Rachid Ghezzal come on for his Champions League debut for the club. He replaces Sidibe.
82'
SAVE! A great stop from Benaglio, who advances to block Augustin’s goal-bound effort. The Leipzig midfielder appeared to be offside, but the flag was not raised.
81'
D. Sidibé gets yellow.
Djibril Sidibe goes into the book.
80'
J. Augustin enters the game and replaces Y. Poulsen.
Another change for Leipzig, as Poulsen makes way for Jean-Kevin Augustin, who arrived from Paris Saint-Germain in the transfer window.
78'
Quick-thinking from Benaglio, who rushes out to prevent Werner getting on the end of Kampl’s precise pass.
74'
K. Baldé enters the game and replaces A. Diakhaby.
Another change now as Jardim makes his first substitution. Keita Balde is on for his Monaco debut, replacing Diakhaby.
73'
Tielemans combines with Moutinho from the corner, eventually drilling in a low cross that Upamecano skews up in the air. Gulacsi drives out to punch it clear, is fouled in the process, and Leipzig have a free-kick.
Minute
Description
72'
M. Halstenberg gets yellow.
Leipzig's Marcel Halstenberg picks up a booking. Monaco take the free-kick short, and Tielemans wins a corner.
70'
Kampl makes an immediate impact with a neat throughball into Werner’s path, before sprinting into the area to support Leipzig’s striker. Werner looks to return the favour, but Jemerson gets across to intervene.
68'
Diakhaby pounces on a loose ball 25 yards out from Leipzig’s goal, but despite the ball sitting up nicely, his half-volley was always rising over the crossbar.
65'
With Bernardo Silva - Monaco’s usual set-piece taker last term - having left, Moutinho is now on duty for free-kicks. However, the experienced Portugal midfielder gets this effort all wrong, as he drills a strike straight into Leipzig’s wall from the edge of the area.
63'
K. Kampl enters the game and replaces E. Forsberg.
Here is that substitute, as Kampl replaces Leipzig’s goalscorer Forsberg.
62'
NO GOAL! Poulsen is clearly offside from Forsberg’s throughball, but he is allowed to drive through on goal before - just prior to him slipping the ball past Benaglio - the linesman finally raises his flag.
61'
Leipzig are preparing their first change, with Kevin Kampl - a late arrival from Bayer Leverkusen in the transfer window - about to come on. The playmaker should help the hosts regain some control in the middle of the park.
58'
Poor goalkeeping from Benaglio, who is caught out by another superb corner from Forsberg. The ball is headed back into the danger area with Monaco’s goalkeeper stranded at his near post, but Glik is well-placed to head it clear off the line.
56'
A late lunge from Poulsen sees Diakhaby go down clutching his ankle. The Monaco midfielder gets back to his feet quickly enough, however.
54'
Werner’s positional play tonight has been brilliant, with the youngster constantly playing on the shoulder of Monaco’s defence. So far, though, he hasn’t quite being provided with the service to put him one-on-one with Benaglio.
52'
CLOSE! Terrific play from Werner, who latches onto a looped pass from the right. After bringing the ball down with an excellent first touch, he thumps a strike towards the far corner, but it just flashes wide of the post.
49'
A rather uneventful start to the second half, with neither side able to assert any authority on proceedings so far since the restart.
46'
We’re back up and running for the second half
43'
CHANCE! That’s a superb opportunity for the home side, as Klostermann drills in an excellent cross that Werner was destined to get onto, if not for a fine last-ditch interception from Glik.
41'
Leipzig are just looking a bit deflated and stretched at the moment, and that is allowing Monaco to have some joy on the counter. The German side must regain their composure quickly…
39'
Diakhaby’s error down Monaco’s left enables Sabitzer to get free and plant a low cross into the area. However, Forsberg - who the delivery was aimed for - had already made a run into the six-yard box, and the chance goes begging.
37'
Well, after a whirlwind few minutes, the hosts must now regain their composure. Monaco had done little of note before Tielemans’ goal, and Leipzig’s coach will be fuming that his side let their lead slip so easily.
34'
Y. Tielemans has scored a goal for Monaco!
GOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! MONACO ARE LEVEL! Remarkable scenes at the Red Bull Arena, where the visitors - two minutes after falling behind - have just restored parity. It is Tielemans who has got it, capitalising on Gulacsi’s fumble to tuck the ball home from a yard out.
32'
E. Forsberg has scored a goal for RB Leipzig! Assist by Y. Poulsen.
GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!! WHAT A WAY FOR LEIPZIG TO TAKE THE LEAD! Immense stuff from Forsberg, who claims a famous goal for the hosts. The Sweden winger is slipped through down the left and, having charged into the box at pace, makes no mistake with an emphatic finish past Benaglio!
A magical moment for Leipzig and Forsberg, who was assisted by Poulsen’s throughball. Monaco’s defence switched off momentarily, and the Swede made sure he punished Jardim’s side.
30'
Keita’s absence is definitely being felt for Leipzig, with the Bundesliga side missing the midfielder’s power, pace and grit in the middle of the park. Nevertheless, they have restricted Monaco to very little, and are now showing signs of crafting more openings themselves.
28'
This is Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl’s first Champions League campaign as manager. As a player, he took part in 10 Champions League games in the 90’s with Casino Salzburg and Lierse, winning only once (D4 L5).
26'
D. Demme gets yellow.
The second booking of the game goes to Leipzig's Demme.
23'
CLOSE! Almost, almost an opener there for Leipzig! Forsberg whipped in an outstanding corner, which Poulsen nudges on towards the far post. Werner looks set to tap it home, but the former Stuttgart forward cannot stretch far enough to make a connection.
21'
Despite the lack of clear opportunities so far, there is no dampening the enthusiasm shown from the Leipzig faithful, who are fully behind their team’s maiden European adventure. On the pitch, however, Leipzig are yet to click out of first gear…
19'
Great movement from Monaco down the right, as Falcao is picked out by Toure. He holds the ball up, eventually turning it back into the onrushing Sidibie’s path, but Ilsanker is on hand to intervene.
17'
After a fast start from Monaco, the hosts have managed to get on the ball in recent moments, with Sabitzer and Forsberg becoming more involved from their positions out wide. No real chances for either side as of yet, though.
14'
STAT - Monaco have only lost one of their eight Champions League games against German clubs (W5 D2), a 3-0 defeat away to Bayer Leverkusen in December 2016 when the French side were already guaranteed of top spot in the group.
12'
Again, Werner’s pace sees him race clear of Monaco’s retreating defence, only for the youngster to slice his low effort well off target.
10'
Y. Tielemans gets yellow.
Monaco's Tielemans, making his full competitive debut for the Ligue 1 club, is the first player to go into the book.
7'
Almost! Sloppy play from Monaco allows Leipzig to launch a swift counter, and Werner almost gets onto the end of Sabitzer’s pass. Leipzig’s forward does get played through by Forsberg moments later, only for the linesman’s flag to halt the move.
5'
Almost an opening for the visitors, as Falcao looks to latch onto Tielemans’ well-taken corner. The Colombia striker nudges the ball goal wards, but it is blocked, and Diakhaby can’t quite react quick enough to apply the finish.
3'
Monaco thrilled many in Europe’s elite competition last term, as Jardim’s young side saw-off the likes of Tottenham, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund to reach the last four. The Ligue 1 champions now have to find a new way of playing, however, with so many high-profile players having left the club.

KICK-OFF! We are underway in Leipzig...
Hello and a very warm welcome to coverage of the Champions League Group G clash between RB Leipzig and Ligue 1 champions Monaco!
It promises to be a thrilling match up between two of Europe’s most exciting sides from 2016-17. Leipzig are making their bow in a major European tournament, having claimed a shock second-place finish in the Bundesliga, while Monaco are looking to bounce back from a 4-0 defeat to Ligue 1 rivals Nice last time out.
While Leipzig have managed to retain their key players from last term - albeit with Naby Keita, who is injured for tonight’s fixture, having agreed to move to Liverpool in June 2018 - Monaco have not had as much luck. Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy have both joined Manchester City, Tiemoue Bakayoko has left for Chelsea and, of course, star striker Kylian Mbappe is now at Paris Saint-Germain.
While Monaco fans will have looked on at PSG’s 5-0 thumping of Celtic last night in envy, Leonardo Jardim has nevertheless got an extremely strong squad to pick from, with new signings Rachid Ghezzal, Stevan Jovetic and Keita Balde all among the visitors’ substitutes this evening. Let’s check on the full team news…
The rise and rise of Leipzig, since its founding in its current format in 2009, has been astonishing, and there is a truly fantastic atmosphere in the Red Bull Arena this evening, as the Champions League anthem blares out here for the very first time.
An enthralling opening 45 minutes, though perhaps lacking in quality. Forsberg’s goal - a sublime individual effort - put Leipzig ahead, only for Tielemans to mark his full Monaco debut with an equaliser two minutes later.
A good result for both of these sides, then, on a monumental night for the hosts, who will be content with a well-deserved point.
FULL TIME: RB Leipzig 1 Monaco 1.
In the end, though, both sides - who have a host of new players bedding in respectively - just lacked the quality in the final third to claim the points.
That’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
