We're underway at The Hawthorns.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between West Brom and Stoke at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies have enjoyed the perfect start to the new campaign. Tony Pulis' men defeated Bournemouth on the opening day of the term and backed up their efforts by beating Burnley on the road last week, winning both contests by a single goal.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Stoke suffered a defeat on the opening day at the hands of Everton, but were able to bounce back last week with a fine display to see off Arsenal. Mark Hughes has been under pressure and will be desperate for his side maintain their form against his predecessor.
West Brom have made two changes from their win over Burnley last week. James Morrison and Solomon Rondon come into the side as James McClean and Sam Field drop out of the starting line-up, while new signing Oliver Burke starts from the bench.
Stoke have made one change to their side from their win over Arsenal. Mame Biram Diouf drops out of the side and is replaced by Bruno Martins Indi, which could see Geoff Cameron switch across to the right flank.
FLASHBACK! West Brom won this contest 1-0 last season as James Morrison scored the only goal of the game in the sixth minute.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: WEST BROM 0-0 STOKE
It's goalless at the break at The Hawthorns as neither side has been able to muster a breakthrough. Stoke came the closest through Kurt Zouma's deflected strike that forced Ben Foster to backpeddle to turn it over the bar. West Brom have been quiet in the final third and need an improvement in the second half to maintain their 100% start to the term.
FULL-TIME: WEST BROM 1-1 STOKE
West Brom's 100% record to start to the season comes to an end, but Tony Pulis' men remain unbeaten. Jay Rodriguez looked to have put them on the path of victory with a diving header in the 60th minute, but an error from Ahmed Hegazi allowed Peter Crouch to equalise and earn his side a point.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
