Magdeburg have won four of their last five games in the German third division and they sit second at the moment. They come into the game on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Unteraching but home advantage at the MDCC-Arena will give them a much needed boost tonight.
Tonight's TEAM NEWS coming up...
Peter Bosz's Dortmund have won just one of their last five games in all competitions, with the German giants drawing two and losing two in recent weeks. This DFB Pokal clash will be a welcomed break from the Bundesliga, following their 2-2 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt last time out.
Hartel makes five changes to his team since the clash against Unteraching. Brunst, Erdmann, Sowislo, Lohkemper and Beck all replace Glinker, Handke, Rother, Ludwig and Duker.
Bosz has given plenty of his first-team stars a rest, with seven dropping out from the draw against Eintracht Frankfurt. Sokratis, Zagadou, Schmelzer, Dahoud, Kagawa, Yarmolenko and Isak come in for Weigl, Subotic, Toljan, Castro, Gotze, Pulisic and Aubameyang.
The teams are making their way onto the field and kick off is fast approaching!
