Augsburg seeing this out exactly how you would expect - slowly and surely. Their lack of urgency is to be expected, as they run plenty of time off the clock with their final chance, with Caiuby replaced by Gojko Kacar.
90'
There will be a minimum of three minutes added on at the end of this match. Still time for a twist in the tale...
88'
Caiuby gets yellow.
A booking for Caiuby now as pressure starts to build on the Augsburg goal.
87'
Into the final few minutes now and Dortmund have set up camp in the Augsburg half. They're running out of time to find an equaliser, and it's not looking particularly great for them with the tempo struggling to pick up as a result of a number of little stoppages.
85'
STAT: Dortmund are unbeaten in their last 34 Bundesliga matches in which they led at the break (W31, D3).
83'
LASHED OVER! Schurrle runs into the centre to meet a pull-back with a great look at goal, but Batshuayi, who is running away from goal, doesn't see him and intercepts! The striker quickly turns and fires an off-balance effort over the bar. Schurrle buries his head in his hands following the wasted opportunity.
81'
S. Parker gets yellow.
Just a few minutes after coming on, Parker goes into the book. He replaced Moravek, who was the only other player to see yellow in this match.
79'
With three key clubs in the top-four race losing this weekend, it really would me a missed opportunity for Dortmund should they drop points tonight. Peter Stoger can't be pleased with how his side have played on the ball since taking the lead - offering next to nothing going forward.
77'
S. Parker enters the game and replaces J. Morávek.
C. Pulišić enters the game and replaces M. Reus.
The recently booked Moravek has now picked up a knock and is withdrawn for Shawn Parker.

Description
76'
Dortmund's second change sees Christian Pulisic replace scorer Reus.
75'
J. Morávek gets yellow.
Augsburg midfielder Jan Moravek is issued the first yellow card of the match. Dahoud tries his luck from the ensuing free-kick, picking out the far post from over 25 yards, but Hitz sticks with it smartly to parry!
73'
K. Danso has scored a goal for Augsburg!
PARITY RESTORED! You have to say it's been coming, with Dortmund resting on their laurels. Danso makes a perfectly timed run to meet a corner kick, and he's able to stick with it to bundle home the rebound after Burki kept out his initial header!
70'
STAT: Augsburg have lost consecutive league games for the first time this season. This is their worst run of form since last term (3 straight losses between matchdays 26 and 28).
68'
INCHES WIDE! Lovely hit, that, from Schurrle! He's running off to the right of goal as the ball is played into his path, and lifts a delightful effort back across goal that drifts just beyond the far post with Hitz beaten!
66'
From a neutral perspective, this has not been the most attractive viewing. Dortmund have shown a nice ability to grind out results under Peter Stoger, though. They beat Gladbach 1-0 last weekend with Burki having to make 11 saves, while Dortmund managed just two shots on target.
64'
Augsburg remain in the ascendency, taking the game to Dortmund with more regularity. The hosts have spent precious little time in attack since the restart, and despite leading 1-0, tou can hear the home supporters starting to grow a bit restless.
62'
Mahmoud Dahoud enters the game and replaces G. Castro.
Dortmund make their first change of the night as Mahmoud Dahoud replaces Gonzalo Castro.
60'
STAT: Dortmund have claimed more points on the road (22 from 12 games) than at home (18 from 11) this term. They are 11th in the home rankings.
58'
Penalty appeals for Gregoritch as he goes to ground in the penalty area trying to hold the ball up, following contact into the back from Toprak! The referee says no and play continues, but Schmid wastes a good opportunity, dragging a shot well wide of the far post from a dangerous position.
56'
M. Heller enters the game and replaces R. Framberger.
CLOSE! Much better from the visitors as they work the ball out wide for Gregoritsch, who lifts in a lovely delivery for Schmid, but the winger sends a glancing header agonisingly wide of the near post!
An attacking switch here for the visitors as Marcel Heller replaces Framberger, who did pick up a bit of a knock in the first half.
54'
Hinteregger catches Weigl with a late challenge, sending the Dortmund midfielder down in a heap, but he escapes a booking. Timing of the challenge aside, that's refreshing to see from Augsburg, who haven't shown nearly enough desire to win the ball back in this match, making it awfully comfortable on Dortmund in possession.
50'
STAT: Stoger’s points per game average currently stands at 2.25 – a club record (minimum 2 matches in charge).
48'
Cagey start to the second half as the players look like they need to warm up again as they come back out into the cold. The ball has hardly left the midfield third in these opening few minutes.
46'
Back underway in Dortmund!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: BORUSSIA DORTMUND 1-0 AUGSBURG.
45'
There will be two minutes added on at the end of the first half.
44'
MASSIVE STOP! A big chance for Augsburg from a set-piece as Schmid picks out the bottom corner from a free-kick, but Burki does excellently to get down in a hurry to parry at the near post. He had to get over in a hurry and he did just that!
42'
Time winding down on this first half and Augsburg need to get into the break without any further damage being inflicted. Both teams will likely look to make a few tweaks to their approach coming out of the interval, to just pick things up a bit as far as the tempo is concerned.
40'
STAT: Augsburg haven’t won away to a side in the top half of the table since April 2016 (2-0 in Wolfsburg; D6 L7 since).
38'
Dortmund looking a bit sharper in possession as the half wears on. They're starting to get into the final third with more regularity, but are being limited to shots from outside the area, which the likes of Hinteregger and Danso are doing a great job of getting their bodies in front of.
36'
A sigh of relief for the visitors as Framberger is able to walk off the pitch under his own power, following a lengthy bit of treatment. It looks like he'll be able to continue - and that should see some more time added on at the end of the first half.
34'
This is a worrying sign for Augsburg as Framberger is down in a lot of pain after twisting his ankle awkwardly. The right-back slid in to try and block a shot, but caught his cleats in the turf and rolled up over top of it. Hopefully he's ok here - that certainly didn't look good.
32'
Batshuayi hasn't had much service thus far - just one touch in and around the penalty area. In fact, outside of the goal, there's just been two touches for Dortmund in the penalty area, as Augsburg have done an excellent job limiting the hosts' looks.
30'
STAT: Borussia have kept consecutive clean sheets for the first time since matchdays four and five (5-0 v Cologne and 3-0 in Hamburg). They haven’t managed three on the bounce since February 2012.
28'
This hasn't been the most entertaining of matches thus far. The thought was that Dortmund's goal would help open things up, but that hasn't been the case. Slowly, though, Augsburg are starting to show a bit more urgency on the ball.
26'
That's more like it from the visitors! Framberger makes a well-timed run forward and is sprung into all sorts of space on the right. He has eyes for goal with support lacking, but can only send a strike straight at Burki from a difficult angle.
24'
Augsburg need to show more going forward when they win the ball back. They almost look timid in their attempts to break forward, completing just 70 per cent of their passes, while keeping just over 30 per cent possession.
22'
More of the same here with Dortmund back in possession, keeping Augsburg at arm's length. The hosts aren't having much success building patiently, instead looking much more of a threat on the break.
20'
STAT: Dortmund average 2.15 points per top-flight game against Augsburg – they’re only better off against Freiburg (2.19) as far as current Bundesliga sides are concerned.
18'
A goal in successive matches for Reus, who is playing in just his third Bundesliga game of the season as a result of a knee injury. He looks fresh and ready to lead Dortmund's late-season charge.
16'
M. Reus has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund!
THAT'S MORE LIKE IT FROM DORTMUND! With their first threatening attack of the night, the hosts lead thanks to an incisive break! Gotze surges forward and plays Schurrle forward down the right. The winger sends it across the face of goal where Hinteregger slides in to break it up, but he doesn't clear the danger and Rues follows-up to slot home.
13'
It's been a sloppy start to this match. Neither side has found any sort of rhythm as it all remains a bit choppy. The midfield third has been congested, while neither side are showing much desire to increase the tempo.
11'
Dortmund lacking in urgency as their possession is amounting to precious little thus far. That's not to take anything away from Augsburg in defence, however, as they have done an excellent job of organising themselves off the ball.
9'
STAT: Peter Stoger’s tenure has started with an eight-game unbeaten run (W5 D3) – a club record (previously seven games, set by both Peter Bosz and Thomas Tuchel).
7'
Well despite seeing little of the ball it's Augsburg who negotiate the first shot of the match - Gregoritsch getting on the end of a clever pull-back from Schmid on the right, but sending his first-time effort straight at Burki.
5'
Plenty of possession for Dortmund thus far but none of it coming in the threatening areas. They're largely parked near the halfway line, with Augsburg refusing to press high up, instead keeping their shape and inviting the hosts forward.
3'
It's a very chilly night on what is just the Bundesliga's second Monday match of the season. With Dortmund playing Thursday last week in the Europa League, the extra day of rest will have been a welcome sight for Peter Stoger's side. It's been a slow start, though, at the Signal-Iduna-Park.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Dortmund get the match underway in their yellow tops with black trim, attacking left to right, with Augsburg in white and red.
Hello and welcome to the Signal-Iduna-Park for some Monday night Bundesliga action as Borussia Dortmund host Augsburg!
Results over the weekend went Dortmund’s way – Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig all losing – as they remain in second place heading into tonight’s clash, with the opportunity to strengthen their grip on a place in the top four.
Peter Stoger’s side are looking like themselves again, unbeaten in their last eight in the Bundesliga and into the last-16 of the Europa League, and now with the chance to move five-points clear of fifth place should they make it four successive wins in the league.
Augsburg, meanwhile, are floating in mid-table obscurity, though they will have to be pleased with their positioning – their 31 points thus far already equaling the total tally for which they managed last season.
A place in Europe actually appears to be likelier than relegation for Manuel Baum’s side, as they’re just seven points and four clubs back of sixth place, compared to seven points (with a match in hand) and six clubs up on the bottom three – they could make a statement with three points tonight.
Peter Stoger makes two changes to his side from last weekend's victory over Gladbach. Skipper Marcel Schmelzer, who scored the goal to send them through to the last-16 of the Europa League, returns from a calf injury to start his first league match of 2018, while Omer Toprak is also restored in defence, replacing Manuel Akanji and Jeremy Toljan.
For Augsburg, Manuel Baum makes two changes from the defeat to Stuttgart, with Jonathan Schmid and Jan Moravek replacing Marcel Heller and Daniel Baier.
Marco Reus has his second goal of the season, and second in as many matches, as Borussia Dortmund lead at the break. It's been a comfortable half for the hosts in terms of possession, keeping just under 70 per cent, but chances were limited for them, while Augsburg did well to threaten despite spending little time on the ball. Still everything to play for after the break.
Kevin Danso's equaliser cancels out Marco Reus' opener as Borussia Dortmund are made to settle for a point despite leading at half-time. The draw snaps a three-match winning skid for Peter Stoger's side in the league, and keeps the top-four race incredibly tight. That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
