Plenty of space opens up for Torres, allowing the Spaniard to charge into the penalty area. He tries to cut onto his left foot and shoot, but he's closed down before he can do so and instead heads towards the corner flag, where Atletico win themselves a free kick.
90' +3
S. Savić enters the game and replaces T. Partey.
Thomas takes his time as he makes his way off the pitch to be replaced by Savic. That should be that for the home side.
90' +1
A poor attempted headed clearance from Koke can only find a black shirt, gifting Arsenal with possession in a very dangerous position. Monreal quickly crosses but, not for the first time tonight, his ball into the box is woefully hit and bounces behind for a goal kick.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
89'
And now Arsenal almost go close! The visitors look set to carve out a chance on goal of their own after good play between Welbeck and Lacazette, but the former's pass towards his team-mate is slightly overhit and Atletico hold on once again.
88'
Big chance for Torres! A low pass across the face of goal should be dealt with by Arsenal but they end up conceding possession to Torres. The striker quickly shoots, but his thumping effort is parried away by Ospina after being sent straight at the goalkeeper.
87'
A clumsy challenge results in a free kick for Atletico deep down the left wing, and it's one that they understandably take their time with. Koke eventually sends it short to Griezmann before the Frenchman manages to win a corner for the home side.
85'
Koke almost manages to link up with Griezmann after the latter pulls off a cheeky rabona pass, but his ball into the box is slightly overhit and collected by Ospina ahead of the onrushing midfielder.

Torres receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he comes on to replace Costa.

S. Mustafi gets yellow.
Mustafi has also been booked for his part in the fracas.

76'
Vital interception by Xhaka! Griezmann embarks on a brilliant run as he weaves his way through a sea of Arsenal players. He then tries to shoot from inside the penalty area, but he has the ball poked away from him by Xhaka just as he's about to do so.

72'
Mkhitaryan goes close! A well-placed cross from Xhaka isn't fully dealt with by the home side, who can only clear the ball as far as Mkhitaryan. The Armenian takes a quick touch and shoots, but his thumping effort flies just over the top of the crossbar.
71'
Saúl gets yellow.
The yellow card is out again and this time it's Saul who finds himself on the receiving end after cynically pulling back Ramsey as he broke away.

Costa causes problems once again as he charges down the left wing and into a pocket of space. He then sends a chipped cross into the penalty area, where Chambers does well to head the ball away from danger.
68'
H. Mkhitaryan enters the game and replaces J. Wilshere.
Mkhitaryan has come on to take the place of Wilshere in an understandably attacking substitution by Wenger.
67'

65'
The game is starting to open up slightly as Atletico push hard for a second goal, which you feel will suit Arsenal. They're starting to find a bit more space on the break, allowing them to hit the hosts' on some really good counter-attacks.
63'
And now Xhaka goes close! The midfielder is left in a pocket of space 25 yards away from goal and unleashes a thumping low strike, forcing Oblak into diving to his left to tip the ball round the post and behind for a corner.
61'
What a chance for Welbeck! Ozil manages to break into the left-hand side of the home side's box and quickly heads towards the byline. He then fires a well-placed pass across the face of goal, but the ball fizzes just inches past the head of Welbeck.
59'
Almost! It's Griezmann who steps up and shoots, but his curling strike ends up sailing a yard or two wide of the far post. Ospina seemed to have it covered, mind.
58'

After dealing with the corner, Atletico quickly counter-attack through Griezmann, who bursts deep into the Arsenal half of the pitch and wins a free kick in a dangerous position after being brought down from behind by Monreal. Will they be able to make it count?
57'

53'
What an opportunity for Ramsey! Atletico aren't able to deal with the resulting free kick and allow a scuffed strike from Wilshere to bounce through to Ramsey. The Welshman tries his hardest to get a shot away from close range but, under pressure from three defenders, sends a deflected effort wide of the goal.
52'

We're underway once again!
45' +2
Diego Costa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by A. Griezmann.
GOAL! Costa gives Atletico the lead! Arsenal are caught horrendously open at the back after failing to deal with a lofted pass from Oblak, allowing Griezmann to send a great ball into the box and straight to Costa, who then lifts a lovely finish over Ospina.
That really was a wonderful pass from Griezmann, but Arsenal should have done much better defensively. They were caught on the break and failed to deal with a clever run from Costa, who easily got the better of Bellerin.
45' +1
Vitolo charges down the left wing and manages to win a corner for his side. It's curled towards the near post by Koke and cleared only as far as Gabi, who unleashes a thumping volley but can't guide it through the sea of players camped in front of him.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
44'

42'
J. Wilshere gets yellow.
Wilshere barges into Gabi and sends the Atletico midfielder to the ground, leaving the referee with no choice but to show him the first yellow card of the game.
41'
It's starting to get a bit feisty on the pitch, with several meaty challenges resulting in the pace of the game slowing down. Both sides are struggling to control the contest, resulting in most of the match being played in the centre of the pitch as they battle hard to get on top.
39'
And now Griezmann goes close! Another Atletico free kick causes problems for the visitors as Griezmann manages to get the better of Wilshere. He then spins and shoots, but his low shot rolls agonisingly wide of the goal.
37'
Chance for Koke! Arsenal aren't quite able to clear the danger from their own box, allowing a header to be sent back to Koke on the edge of the penalty area. The Spaniard quickly unleashes a volley, and his bouncing effort causes Ospina to scramble as it bounces just wide of the far post.
35'
It's all gone rather quiet inside the Wanda Metropolitano, where Atletico are being frustrated by a well-organised Arsenal defence. Despite still requiring a goal to have any chance of reaching the final, the visitors will no doubt be pleased with how things are going.
33'
Another Atletico throw-in isn't dealt with well enough by Arsenal, allowing Vitolo to break towards the byline. He then chips a cross towards Costa, but Chambers is there to get to it first.
31'
Monreal makes a good run into the left-hand side of the hosts' box and goes close to latching onto a clever pass from Ramsey, but he can't quite get to the ball ahead of Oblak and the goalkeeper is able to dive onto it.
29'
A looping throw-in is sent into the Arsenal penalty area, where a mix-up between Xhaka and Ospina results in the midfielder scuffing the ball behind for a corner. Luckily for him, Atletico can't make it count, despite the fact that Thomas was able to unleash an almighty strike from 25 yards out.
27'
Big chance for Arsenal! Lacazette is able to break through the Atletico back line and take on Oblak, but he can't quite get a shot away quickly enough after holding onto the ball for too long. He then has to spin and find Ozil, who also tries to shoot but is dispossessed before he can do so.
25'
Arsenal lose the ball cheaply, allowing the home side to immediately counter-attack through Saul. The midfielder does well to get forward before working the ball over to Costa, who tries to get a shot away but is let down by a poor first touch.
23'
Koke falls asleep on the ball over on the right flank and gives away possession to Lacazette, but luckily for the Atletico midfielder, the Frenchman can't pick out a team-mate inside the box and sends a deflected cross away from danger.
21'
Chambers is almost caught out by a lofted pass forward after letting the ball bounce, but he's just about able to get to it ahead of the striker, stopping him from finding a way into the Arsenal penalty area.
19'
Bellerin is presented with a good opportunity to cross after finding himself in a decent position on the edge of the penalty area, but his cross towards the back post is overhit and can't quite find a team-mate in front of goal.
17'
A chipped pass finds Lacazette inside the box, and the Frenchman quickly knocks the ball back to Ramsey. The midfielder then attempts to pick out Bellerin, who had made a good run forward, but his lofted pass is slightly overhit and the full-back can't quite keep the ball in play.
15'
Atletico are seeing a good amount of the ball at the moment, but they're struggling to do much with it. Arsenal look well-organised in midfield, forcing Gabi into firing a hopeful long pass that fails to find a team-mate and instead bounces behind for a goal kick.
13'
The game gets underway once again and Atletico quickly win themselves a free kick over on the right flank. It's swung into the box and almost finds Saul, who rises high but loses out to Welbeck in front of goal.
12'
C. Chambers enters the game and replaces L. Koscielny.
Chambers has come on to replace Koscielny in the heart of the Arsenal defence.
10'
It looks as if this injury could keep Koscielny out of action for a long time, as he's going to have to be stretchered off after failing to get back to his feet. That could prove to be the end of his season.
8'
Ouch! This doesn't look at all good for Koscielny, who has gone down holding his achilles and seems to be in a lot of pain. He went down off the ball and looks to have suffered some serious damage. That could be that for the Frenchman.
7'
Great chance for Costa! Koscielny and Monreal are easily barged aside by Costa as the striker darts into the Arsenal box. He then tries to beat Ospina at the near post but sends his toe-poked effort high and wide of the goal.
6'
Good play by Arsenal allows Lacazette to whip a cross into the middle of the penalty area, where it narrowly misses Wilshere before being chested behind by Thomas. Ozil then curls the resulting corner towards Mustafi, but the centre-back can't quite get his head on the ball.
4'
Arsenal are unable to keep the ball in the middle of the pitch and surrender possession to the home side. A lofted pass is then fired deep into the visitors' half of the pitch and towards Costa, but the striker can't quite latch onto the ball on the edge of the box.
2'
Atletico push forward on the first attacking move of the night and manage to win themselves a corner. It's fired towards the near post by Koke, but the ball is cleared before a second cross is then punched away by Ospina.

We're off! It's Arsenal, in their dark away strip, who get us underway.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Europa League semi-final second leg between Atletico Madrid and Arsenal at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
It looked as if everything was going to plan for Arsenal when they took the lead shortly after the hour mark in last week’s first leg, but a late Antoine Griezmann equaliser means it’s Atletico who are on the front foot heading into tonight’s big clash, leaving the Gunners in desperate need of an away goal if they’re to progress.
Arsenal were handed a near-perfect start seven days ago when Sime Vrsaljko saw red with just 10 minutes on the clock, but despite being a man down for the majority of the game, a hard-working Atletico side came away with a vital away goal to make them the favourites to reach the final.
With such an impressive defensive record at home, Diego Simeone’s men will certainly be feeling confident about their chances of completing the job this evening. On only one occasion in their last 23 games have they tasted defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano, and they haven’t conceded a single goal there since January 20th - a remarkable run of 11 games.
Arsene Wenger has an almost full-strength squad at his disposal tonight, and several of his key players will be fully rested after missing the defeat against Manchester United on the weekend. Atletico, meanwhile, are able to welcome back Diego Costa, who was injured for last week’s first leg but is set to make tonight’s clash a really tough one for the under-pressure Arsenal defenders.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Atletico Madrid substitutes: Axel Werner, Stefan Savic, Filipe Luis, Roberto Olabe, Angel Correa, Kevin Gameiro, Fernando Torres.
Atletico Madrid XI (4-4-2): Jan Oblak, Thomas Partey, Jose Gimenez, Diego Godin, Lucas Hernandez; Vitolo, Gabi, Saul, Koke; Diego Costa, Antoine Griezmann.
Arsenal substitutes: Petr Cech, Calum Chambers, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Eddie Nkhetiah, Alex Iwobi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Arsenal XI (4-3-3): David Ospina; Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal; Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere; Danny Welbeck, Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil.
Diego Simeone has decided to make three changes to the Atletico side that started last week’s first leg, with Vitolo, Gabi and Costa coming in for Vrsaljko, Correa and Gameiro, respectively.
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has named an unchanged side to the one that featured at the Emirates, with Lacazette once again leading the line flanked by Welbeck and Ozil.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: ATLETICO MADRID 1-0 ARSENAL (2-1 AGG)
It was all going so well for Arsenal, who had defended impressively for 46 minutes and looked set to head into the half-time break arguably the happier of the two sides. But then Costa came along and ruined everything for them. A slight defensive lapse allowed the striker to burst into the box and score, leaving Arsenal needing to score twice themselves if they're to make it to the final without heading to extra-time.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: ATLETICO MADRID 1-0 ARSENAL (2-1 AGG)
Atletico are through to the final of the Europa League! In the end, all they needed was one goal from Costa, who pounced on a defensive mistake to put his side in a commanding position. The hosts were defensively resolute throughout, and they made it a thoroughly difficult evening for their visitors. No matter how hard they tried, Arsenal just couldn't find a way through.
