Alex Sandro has scored a goal for Brazil! Assist by Neymar.
Neymar put the ball on a plate for Sandro but Saudi Arabia will be frustrated at having conceded so late. They've put in a great shift today and deserved to leave with the scoreline at 1-0.
GOAL! Sandro makes it 2-0 to Brazil! Neymar, with one of the final kicks of the game, curls a lovely corner into the heart of the penalty area, where Sandro rises high and easily nods the ball into the back of the net.
90' +4
Saudi Arabia are continuing to show attacking intent as they try to find a way back into the game. Pizzi will certainly be pleased with the effort his side have shown today, despite the fact that it looks as if they're going to end up losing.
90' +2
Abdulrahman Ghareeb enters the game and replaces Hussain Al Moqahwi .
The home side have made another change, with Al Mogahwi being replaced by Ghareeb.
90' +1
Hussein Abdul Ghani enters the game and replaces Salem Al Dawsari.
What a moment for Abdul Ghani, who comes on to make his 135th appearance for Saudi Arabia at the ripe old age of 41. Dawsari receives a rousing round of applause as he makes way.
Neymar is presented with another chance to test Malayekah from a free-kick after being cynically pulled back, but his shot is overhit and fails to hit the target.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be six minutes of added time.
89'
What a chance for Walace to make it 2-0! A wonderful cross from Neymar is whipped towards the edge of the six-yard box and finds Walace, who has a free header but sends it just past the far post.
88'
Neymar eventually steps up and shoots from the free-kick, but the wall does its job and deflects his strike wide of the goal and behind for a corner.
87'
Mustafa Malayekah enters the game and replaces Hatan Bahbri.
Babhir has been sacrificed for substitute goalkeeper Malayekah, who comes on to make his international debut at the age of 32.
85'
Mohammed Al Owais goes off after a red card!
RED CARD! With five minutes left to go, Saudi Arabia are down to 10 men. The referee goes to VAR to have a look at that clearance from Al Owais, who used his arm to dispossess Richarlison while standing just outside of the box. It leaves him with no choice but to give him his marching orders.
Minute
Description
84'
Almost a chance for Richarlison! The Everton forwards showcases great speed as he sprints towards the edge of the penalty area, but Al Owais beats him to the ball and is just about able to blast it away at the vital moment.
82'
Augusto bursts down the right wing and is clumsily fouled, resulting in a free-kick for Brazil in a promising position. Neymar steps up and crosses, but his pass into the box is poor and easily cleared.
80'
Yahia Al Shehri enters the game and replaces Abdulaziz Al Bishi.
Saudi Arabia have made another substitution, with Al Bishi, who put in a good shift tonight, making way for Al Shehri.
78'
Brazil are seeing slightly more of the ball than their opponents but aren't managing to do much with it. Once again they get themselves into a good position but lose out after entering the final third of the pitch, with the home side then attempting to start another quick counter-attack.
76'
Saudi Arabia certainly seem to be full of belief that they can get back in this, and they're continuing to press with intensity in the middle of the pitch. They aren't shy of getting stuck in, and it's disrupting Brazil's flow.
74'
With little over quarter of an hour left to play, the referee has signalled for another water break. It's been far from plain sailing for Brazil, who remain in the lead but have been made to work incredibly hard by a determined Saudi Arabia side.
72'
Saeed Al Muwallad enters the game and replaces Mohammed Al Burayk.
Arthur enters the game and replaces Gabriel Jesus.
Richarlison enters the game and replaces Gabriel Jesus.
Al Burayk has made way for Al Mowalad in Saudi Arabia's first alteration of the night.
Meanwhile, Brazil have made a double switch. The first player to come on is Richarlison, with Jesus making way.
And the second is Arthur, who takes the place of Coutinho.
70'
Lucas is left in space over on the right wing, allowing him to cut inside and heads towards the edge of the box. He then sends a pass through to Jesus, who tries to spin and shoot but is dispossessed by Otayf before he can do so.
68'
Abdullah Otayf gets yellow.
An attempted Saudi Arabia attack fails to come to anything and Brazil counter quickly, but Neymar is cynically fouled on the halfway line by Otayf and earns the first yellow card of the game.
66'
Walace enters the game and replaces Casemiro.
Brazil have made their second change of the evening, with Casemiro making way for Walace to earn his third cap.
64'
Another Saudi Arabia attacking move is brought to an end by Brazil, who then try to hit their opponents on a swift counter-attack. Lucas darts through the middle of the pitch and attempts to latch on to a long ball, but Al Shahrani is there to beat him to it at the vital moment.
62'
Brazil win themselves a free-kick 30 yards away from the Saudi Arabia goal. Neymar steps up and crosses, but he can't quite pick out Marquinhos and the home side hold on.
60'
Saudi Arabia are certainly showing plenty of attacking intent, and they're causing problems for Brazil whenever they push forward. Once again, it's Al Dawsari who heads towards the box before unleashing a throughball, but it's slightly overhit and can only find the hands of Ederson.
58'
Chance for Al Faraj! Once again, Saudi Arabia impress on the counter-attack, with Al Dawsari playing an important role. He sprints into the penalty area, spins and sends a pass to Al Faraj, who immediately shoots but sends his effort well wide.
56'
Sloppy play from Brazil gifts possession to Saudi Arabia, who immediately burst forward on a counter-attack. Al Dawsari breaks into the box and crosses, but Marquinhos is just about able to get a foot on the ball ahead of two forwards.
54'
Neymar hits the post! The forward pops up in a pocket of space and immediately unleashes an excellent curling strike. It beats the outstretched limbs of Al Owais but can't find the back of the net, instead clipping the outside of the post on its way out of play.
52'
Brazil were slightly conservative in the first half, but they're looking to get further forward and are piling more bodies forward when attacking. So far, Saudi Arabia have done pretty well to deal with them, but it might not be too long until the visitors double their lead.
50'
Great chance for Lucas! Neymar somewhere manages to evade three players before sending a brilliant pass into the box. Lucas meets it and quickly shoots, but his low strike is smothered by Al Owais.
48'
Lucas goes down inside the box, but nothing is given! Albulayhi clumsily sends the ball straight to the Tottenham forward, who then bursts into the penalty area. He looks to get a shot away but is brought down from behind as he does so, and the referee immediately tells him to get back to his feet.
46'
Lucas Moura enters the game and replaces Fred.
Brazil have decided to make a substitution during the half-time break, with Lucas coming on to replace Fred.
We're underway once again!
45' +3
HALF-TIME: SAUDI ARABIA 0-1 BRAZIL
45' +2
Coutinho thinks he's scored, but it's offside! Once again, Neymar sends a delightful pass into the penalty area and towards Jesus, who then squares the ball to Coutinho. He has the simplest of tap ins but it's immediately ruled out by the linesman's flag.
45'
Augusto gets himself into a good position over on the right flank and latches on to a well-placed lofted pass. He then tries to cut into the penalty area, but he's closed down by Al Shahrani and loses out to the full-back.
43'
Gabriel Jesus has scored a goal for Brazil! Assist by Neymar.
That was a wonderful pass from Neymar, who perfectly picked out Jesus inside the box. Saudi Arabia will be frustrated with their defending, though, as they weren't quick enough to close down the PSG man.
GOAL! Jesus makes it 1-0 to Brazil! It's taken them 43 minutes but the Selecao have finally managed to take the lead. Unsurprisingly, it's Neymar who sends a lovely pass through to Jesus, who then beats Al Owais with a deft dink from close range.
42'
Vital block by Hawsawi! A lovely spin from Fred sees him beat his marker before trying to pick out Jesus, but Hawsawi is just about able to get a toe on the ball ahead of the striker.
40'
There's a slight break in play as Babhir receives treatment. He seemed to get a hand in the face from Marquinhos as they battled for the ball, but it was purely accidental and he'll be able to continue.
38'
Al Shahrani has been seeing plenty of the ball tonight, and he's started to move more centrally as Saudi Arabia continue to see plenty of the ball. This time he tries to poke a pass through to Al Dawsari, but it's slightly underhit and can't quite find the forward.
36'
Saudi Arabia move the ball around nicely once again, and this time with a bit more speed than the earlier attacking moves. Al Shahrani then delivers a cross, but it's completely overhit and sails behind for a goal-kick.
34'
It's incredibly hot in Riyadh at the moment, so the referee has understandably allowed the two sets of players to have a quick water break. It's come at a good time for Brazil, who could do with regrouping.
32'
Brazil have enjoyed plenty of the possession so far but haven't done a great deal with it. They've managed to carve out a couple of decent chances, with Neymar unsurprisingly being their most dangerous attacking outlet, but need to do more if they're to break down a stubborn Saudi Arabia defence.
30'
Sandro heads down the left flank and tries to deliver a cross, but he loses out to Al Bishi and has to settle for a corner. Neymar steps up and crosses but can't quite pick out Jesus at the far post.
28'
Al Faraj picks up the ball in the middle of the pitch and quickly sends a lofted pass over to the left-hand side of the Brazil box. He manages to find Al Shahrani, but the full-back can't quite keep the ball from going out for a goal-kick.
26'
What a save by Al Owais! Jesus sprints down the left wing and takes on Al Bishi, who clips the Brazilian from behind and concedes a free-kick in a dangerous position. Neymar's cross is a great one and picks out Augusto, who sends a glancing header towards the top left-hand corner of the net but is brilliantly denied by Al Owais.
24'
Jesus has the ball in the back of the net, but it won't count! It's a huge let off for Saudi Arabia, who don't clear their lines and allow Augusto to flick a pass into the path of Jesus. The striker then easily beats Al Owais, but the linesman's flag is raised as soon as he starts to celebrate.
22'
Al Dawsari, who has been one of Saudi Arabia's best players so far, cuts inside from out wide and tries to play a one-two with Al Faraj on the edge of the penalty area, but it doesn't quite come off and Brazil win back possession.
20'
Neymar goes close! Once again, the Brazil forward showcases wonderful skill as he weaves through a sea of green shirts and towards the edge of the box, where he then fires a low shot just inches wide of the far post.
18'
Opportunity for Al Dawsari! Space opens up in the middle of the pitch, where Al Faraj bursts forward on a counter-attack. He then sets up Al Shahrani, who pokes the ball back to Al Dawsari, but the forward's first-time shot is brilliantly blocked by Pablo.
16'
Saudi Arabia are able to enjoy a decent spell in possession, with Brazil seemingly content to drop off slightly and soak up the pressure. They're unable to make it count, though, as a poor pass out wide results in a throw-in.
14'
Casemiro is fouled midway inside the hosts' half of the pitch, resulting in a free-kick for Brazil. It's sent short and worked over to the left flank, where they try to deliver a cross but aren't able to do so.
12'
Huge save by Al Owais! A low cross from the right wing isn't fully cleared by Hawsawi and falls to Neymar, who looks certain to tap in from close range but is denied by Al Owais.
11'
And now Augusto goes close! Once again, the Saudi Arabia defence are carved open far too easily, allowing Augusto to break into the penalty area and towards the near post. He eventually shoots, but his effort is too late and easily blocked.
10'
Chance for Neymar! The PSG forward drops deep and picks up the ball in a promising position. He then sprints towards the box and shoots, but his strike deflects off the heel of Coutinho and out of play.
8'
Sloppy play from Casemiro gifts possession to the home side, who quickly try to carve out their first chance on goal. They keep hold of the ball well and work it over to Al Burayk, who chips a pass into the box but can't quite pick out Al Dawsari.
6'
Saudi Arabia win possession but aren't able to make it count, as Neymar quickly brings an end to an attempted counter-attack. He then heads towards the penalty area, where he's pulled back by Al Mogahwi but doesn't win a free-kick.
4'
It's Coutinho who sends the set-piece short to Neymar. Brazil quickly work the ball over to Augusto, who tries to find Neymar once again but can't quite pick out the forward with his chipped pass.
3'
After an even start to the game, it's Brazil who push forward on the first attack of the evening. They move the ball around patiently before Coutinho fires a low cross into the box, where Hawsawi pokes the ball behind for a corner.
1'
We're off! It's Brazil who get us underway.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s international friendly between Saudi Arabia and Brazil at the King Saud University Stadium.
Brazil disappointed during this summer’s World Cup and were made to exit at the quarter-final stage, but so far their rebuilding process has gone to plan. The United States and El Salvador were swept aside without too many problems last month, but a tricky test awaits against Argentina after this evening’s clash away to the three-time Asian Cup winners.
There’s likely to be an element of experimentation today, with Tite looking to hand cameos to a wide range of different players. The likes of Richarlison, Malcom and Arthur received call ups for this month’s games, while Tottenham Hotspur’s Lucas Moura is back in the squad for the first time in two years after enjoying an impressive start to the season.
For Saudi Arabia, today’s game presents them with a great opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Asian Cup. Juan Antonio Pizzi’s men crashed out of the group stage in Russia, despite winning their first game at a World Cup finals since 1994, and the Spaniard has now been tasked with preparing them for a tournament they haven’t won in 22 years.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up today...
Brazil substitutes: Alisson, Phelipe, Eder Militao, Joao Miranda, Filipe Luis, Walace, Arthur, Malcom, Lucas Moura, Richarlison, Roberto Firmino.
Brazil XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Fabinho, Marquinhos, Pablo, Alex Sandro; Fred, Casemiro, Renato Augusto; Philippe Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus, Neymar.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Saudi Arabia substitutes: Abdullah Alkhaibari, Saeed Al Mowalad, Hussein Abdul Ghani, Mohammed Al Fatil, Mustafa Malayekah, Hassan Al Habaib, Mohammed Kanoo, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Haroune Camara, Mohammed Al Yami, Yehya Al Shehri.
Saudi Arabia XI (4-4-2): Mohammed Al Owais; Mohammed Al Burayk, Omar Hawsawi, Ali Albulayhi, Yasir Al Shahrani; Hussain Al Mogahwi, Abdullah Otayf, Salman Al Faraj, Hattan Babhir; Abdulaziz Al Bishi, Salem Al Dawsari.
Unsurprisingly, it's Brazil who head into the half-time break with a one-goal lead, but it took them a lot longer than they would have been expecting to break down their opponents. Saudi Arabia have played well so far and were unlucky to concede, with a wonderful pass from Neymar eventually breaking them down.
There's still a way back into this for Saudi Arabia but they'll have to be at their very best if they're to find the back of the net. They've done well when pushing bodies forward, but on too many occasions they've let themselves down with poor final passes inside the final third.
Brazil's next game is set to be an even more difficult one, as they'll be taking on Argentina on Tuesday. As for Saudi Arabia, they'll be facing Iraq in their final friendly before the Asian Cup gets underway.
That's all we've got time for, but make sure you join us again this weekend for more international action. Until then, goodbye!
